Still Life
The Drummer
Original Pastel Painting 18” x 24”

Sound of the Dance
Yeibechei rugs originated about 1900 in New Mexico's San Juan region. They are representations of dancers who take part in the Feather Dance, a dramatic feature of the Night Chant. The white rug with brightly colored figures is characteristic of the Shiprock area in the 1920s.
Sound of the Dance invites you into this time and place.
