Afternoon in Louvain
If you stop on the small bridge over this canal, you can appreciate an exquisitely, quiet moment in Louvain, Belgium. The town first appeared in documents in 891. It became known for its linen cloth in the 11th through 14th century. In 1425 The Catholic University of Louvain was founded. To this day it remains one of Europe’s best universities.
